The November 2023 Festival of Gardens was truly inspirational!
Owing to the success of last year's festival we were able to financially assist two very deserving Rotorua charities and a total of $28,000 was gifted to the Trinity Community Centre and Rotorua Community Hospice. A fantastic outcome.
2025 Festival Updates
Our garden festivals are run biennially and planning for next year's festival is now well under way. The dates are Friday 14th to Sunday 16th November 2025.
To all passionate Rotorua gardeners
It's not too early to be thinking about entering your garden in next year's festival. We'll soon be asking interested gardeners, either new to the festival or who have previously exhibited their gardens, to get in touch with us. We'll be gathering information and photographing the gardens during this year's springtime so we can begin collating the 2025 Festival of Gardens Visitor Guide early next year.
We are hugely grateful to Sandy Cleland at Palmers Rotorua who has once again agreed to be a sponsor and will be on board for the 2025 festival.
With the new Incorporated Societies Act 2022 coming into effect, we are required to re-register Rotorua Festival of Gardens Incorporated with the Companies Office. This process includes submitting a reviewed set of rules that meet the new act's requirements and the committee are currently working on this.
